The blind date went so well that just four weeks later, I'd quit my job too and off we drove into the sunset, scheming about how to change the world for the better. I realise now that it was my first lesson in manifestation and I didn't even know it.
Towards the end of our travels, we were sitting at our Airbnb kitchen table in San Francisco, when I told Hadrian I wanted to start a fashion brand. At first, he thought I was mad. But for me, it made perfect sense. I’ve never been able to find clothes that felt sleek, sophisticated and badass.
Since then and after much inner work, I've realised it goes way deeper than that. I have a soul-led message to share with the world and this is the lifetime I get to do it - YES!
But it’s also a noisy world out there. So to spread your message you need to be noticed. You need to stand out. And clothes are the perfect way to represent who you are, share your message and make an impact.
I'm living proof because before we started this brand, I didn't have the confidence to be the leader I knew I was capable of being. So it's poetic that my own brand and clothes have empowered me to step up and finally claim my place in the world.
